Abstract

The aim of this study is to explore childbirth experiences among the adolescents who will have sought services,
Coming for some other services such as child immunization at Imenti South Sub County.
The sexual and reproductive health services of adolescents is a global concern with adolescent pregnancy
national average at 16% (KDHs, 2023) and Meru County average is at 24% above the national average.This
has contributed to a rise in maternal and neonatal obstetric complications (United Nations, 2013).
The research questions to be examined are:-
 What are the experiences of adolescents with different stakeholders across the care continuum?
 To what extent are healthcare services responsive to the needs of the adolescents?
 What are the met and unmet childbirth needs of adolescents across the care continuum?
